The Clare Acadian Festival (July 26th to August 15th, 2008) is the oldest Acadian festival in Canada and has always been a celebration of Acadian heritage and culture. The organization of the Festival requires numerous hours or dedicated work by volunteers who plan multiple varied activities to suit all interests and all ages.

The Festival seeks to attract outside tourists as well as the local population and Acadians who come back home each year for their summer vacations.
