Come discover our unique Acadian culture, folklore, natural history and ecology during a guided interpretive walk along Saint Mary's Bay.

Tour length is approximately 1 hour. Tours available in English and French. Cost $5 adult, $2 under 12. Reservations appreciated. Special group rates available - please call ahead.

Mavillette Beach Provincial Park
When is a beach more than a beach? When it's a living creature undergoing constant change at the whim of the relentless pounding sea. Join us for a fascinating look at this vast expanse of sand, cliffs, dunes, marsh and its residents. Meet at parking lot below Cape View Restaurant.



Smugglers Cove Provincial Park
Meteghan - Unlock the mysteries of this storied park! On this tour we'll discover colourful folklore and the surprising truth about local rum running. Secrets of the majestic cliffs and the Acadian fishery will also be revealed. Meet at the parking lot.




Joseph et Marie Dugas Municipal Park
Pointe-à-Major, Belliveau Cove - The rugged beauty of the local beach and wetland mirrors the struggle of the Acadian people who established deep roots in Clare. This tour offers visitors an intimate insight into the very origins of Acadie in Clare. Follow us along the Piau trail named after Pierre Belliveau Acadian pioneer to the first Acadian cemetery and chapel.Immerse yourself in the area’s natural environment and explore the deep relations between the indigenous Mi’kmaq and the original Acadian settlers. Meet at Tourist Bureau beside Farmers’ Market.
