Located on the second floor of the library building on Université Sainte-Anne's campus, the Centre Acadien is a genealogy and historical research centre on Acadian families.

The Acadian Centre is a repository for historical and genealogical information pertaining to the Acadians of Nova Scotia principally. The collection encompasses 18th, 19th and 20th centuries archival groups, photographic collections, newspapers, books (both rare and recent) and an oral collection of live testimonials by Acadians past and present.
