Jérôme Monument
On Sept 1854, 2 fishermen found a man abandoned at Sandy Cove and unwilling or unable to speak with both legs amputated.
In 1861 Elizabeth & Didier Comeau of St.Alphonse took him in where he spent the last 42 years of his life.
A monument has been erected in the memory of Jérome by the Société historique acadienne de la Baie Sainte-Marie on August 15, 2000
