The event has quickly grown to become the largest cycling event in Atlantic Canada, with 992 cyclists participating in 2019. Mark your calendars for our 2021 edition on Sunday, September 19.
Our Gran Fondo will appeal to recreational riders looking for an epic ride, to those that like to tour by bike, and to avid racers.
Experienced riders will be challenged by our 161 km Super Gran and 118 km Gran routes. In 2019, the 88.5 km Mezzo "middle" Fondo was added. Intermediate and novice cyclists may prefer the shorter 67 km Medio or 35 km Piccolo rides. Riders will navigate rolling inland roads along lakes and rivers, passing by towering wooden churches along the panoramic coastal route that hugs beautiful Baie Sainte-Marie.
While the early-bird jersey package ($99) is available until July 20th participants can register up until the morning of the event. Returning in 2020, the Mini-Fondo (2 km & 4 km) for children (ages 5 to 12) will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19.
